The Virtual Ark Poll - Making the Models Come to Life

The Results!

All of the models submitted to the Virtual Ark are special and will be safely given a home in the Ark; however we will be bringing five models to life through a process of digital capture and 3D rendering! One of these animals has been selected by The Virtual Ark team and is a species of Polynesian Tree Snail; once a common sight in its South Sea Island home but recently saved from the very brink of extinction.

The other four animals were chosen via an online public poll, involving four groups of three animals in each group - with votes coming from across the world, it has been an international consultation to raise the profile of a selection of endangered species. The winners and those that took part - to us all animals are equal.
